Today's insurance companies rely on glass networks to handle and distribute auto glass claims to local glass shops who are affiliate's of the networks. Some insurance companies and glass networks have the insured at heart, while other glass networks are more about themselves and not the insured. At Lee's, we fight to get what the insured needs and deserves instead of what the insurance companies or glass networks 'thinks' their insured deserves. This is where Nina comes in. She fights hard to get the customer what they deserve in their vehicle. Aftermarket glass is perfectly fine in many and most situations, but some situations demand OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) glass and it takes 'experience' to know the difference and why it should be used over aftermarket glass. OEM glass in certain situations fit better and function better and are generally more expensive than aftermarket glass. So when OEM is highly recommended, most insurance companies will do all they can to avoid paying for the more expensive glass.
